TIM CONSULT presents customer project at LogiMAT 2018
In 2016 we supported Freudenberg Performance Materials from Weinheim in a warehouse outsourcing project. As a global manufacturer and pioneer in the nonwovens sector, Freudenberg Performance Materials offers high-performance technical textiles for a wide range of industries and applications.
The outsourcing project was characterized by enormous time pressure and complex requirements.
The awarding process was correspondingly challenging. So we came on board as warehouse logistics consultants and accompanied the tendering and selection process for the optimal service provider. Based on our market knowledge, professional tender documents and clear communication with the bidders, we were able to meet the tight schedule. A close support of the bidders during the awarding process contributed to an efficient selection process as well as to a future-proof partnership. Since mid-2017, Freudenberg has successfully established the new structures with its new service provider. Since the beginning of this year, the service provider has taken over the logistics operation completely.
We will be presenting this project at LogiMAT 2018 as part of the “Innovations Forum”. We are pleased to have Soenke Jungclaus, Director Global Purchasing & SCM, Freudenberg Performance Materials Holding SE & Co. KG, for this presentation. He will present the project together with Frieder Töpfer, Principal, TIM CONSULT GmbH.
