A happy union – recipes for success for outsourcing projects. On May 16, 2018, more than 20 intralogistics experts met at TIM INTRALOG. Intralogistics Day, which this time took place at Fiege Logistik Stiftung & Co. KG in Worms. With this series of events TIM INTRALOG. wants to present efficient and innovative strategies in intralogistics to interested parties on the basis of customer projects. In the morning, Christiane Reinhard, Junior Supply Chain Manager, Freudenberg Performance Materials Apparel SE & Co. KG, together with Frieder Töpfer, Managing Director, TIM INTRALOG., gave a presentation on how outsourcing can be implemented under time pressure. Dr. Holger Werthschulte, Director Finance, Fiege Logistik Holding Stiftung & Co. KG reported on changes in the International Financial Reporting Standard 16 Leases (IFRS 16). In a second specialist presentation, attorney Paul Schreiner, Partner, Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH once again recalled § 613a of the German Civil Code (BGB), which legally regulates the transfer of business. In the afternoon, the participants had the opportunity to take a tour of the Fiege IDC in Worms and take a look at state-of-the-art warehouse and order picking technology.
